How to claim it
- Check your university. Check if your university is a partner (e.g., Northeastern, Syracuse, Dartmouth, UVA, Pittsburgh, LSE, Champlain, Northumbria, or USF)
- Log in to portal. Log in to your university's IT or Student Services portal
- Request access. Request 'Claude for Education' access (provisioning may take 24-48 hours)
- Sign in via SSO. Log in using your university Single Sign-On (SSO) credentials
- Start using Claude. Start using Claude 4 Sonnet and Opus with all enterprise features and privacy protections
- Note the access type. Note: You cannot sign up individually - this is institutional access only through university partnerships

- No individual sign-up. Access is institutional via university SSO — you can't self-enroll with an email.
- Your school must provision it. Requesting access through your IT portal can take 24-48 hours.
- Access ends when you leave — it lasts only while you stay enrolled or employed at the partner institution.
