My school isn't listed - can I still get access?
Not yet, but you can join the waitlist at v0.app/students. Vercel is actively expanding the program to more institutions. The waitlist helps them prioritize which schools to add next.
Why does it require a .edu email?
The verification system currently only accepts .edu domain emails. This unfortunately excludes most international universities that use different domain formats (like .ac.uk or .edu.au). International students at non-.edu schools should join the waitlist.
What happens after the 1-year period ends?
The official documentation doesn't specify. You may be downgraded to the free tier, need to re-verify student status, or have other options. Check closer to your expiration date.
What's the difference between v0 free and Premium?
Free tier gives $5/month in credits. Premium (what students get) provides $20/month in credits plus $2 daily login bonuses, 5x larger attachment limits, and Figma import capability.
Can graduate students use this?
The program doesn't explicitly exclude graduate students. If you're enrolled at an eligible school with a valid .edu email, you should qualify regardless of undergraduate or graduate status.
